Miscellanies in prose and verse, 1777.

Bound manuscript of poems by Drewe, dated "New York, 1777" on the title page, followed by newspaper clippings containing poems, anecdotes, and epigrams. The newspaper clippings were evidently added by another person who took over the book following Drewe's death in 1793. A resolution written by this person on the back pastedown of the book, dated Feb. 3, 1794, says, "Let me regularly cut out all that is curious or pleasing from n.[ews]papers or magazines, & stick them with this book."
